Some patients teach a valuable lesson that endures for an entire professional career, and in 2019, The Promacedonia challenged pharmacists to describe the patient who changed their practice, in no more than 500 words. And they did not disappoint.
The entries varied hugely, from the memory-sharing elderly lady who reminds us that everyone was young once, to the hurt patient who hits home the importance of involving patients in decisions about their own care.
We were pleased to receive so many brilliant entries from pharmacists, and those in training, and we hope you enjoy reading our selection of the best.
